2015 Pendulum Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley
An ideal expression of this leading varietal from Washington's Columbia Valley, Pendulum Caernet Sauvignon is artfully crafted to achieve a complex and wordly wine of exceptional quality and outstanding value. Just as a pendulum of a clock reflects balance and precision, Pendulum Cabernet Sauvignon represents an elegant wine balanced to perfection.
Spiced cigar box aromas introduce flavors of cassis and red apple followed by creamy tannins. Mocha, toasted oak and a hint of fresh basil accent the long finish. Pair with red meat, grilled vegetables, or enjoy by the glass at the end of your evening.
Vintage Note: The 2015 Washington state harvest will go down in history as the vintage where parts of the state persevered above irrigation restrictions, several 100-degree days, and a few late-season regional wildfires that spared growers from any problems. It will also be noted as the year with a record surge in growing degree days, a harvest that started early and ended by mid-October, and a bounty that surpassed even the 227,000-ton record set during the 2014 Washington harvest. Fruit flavors from this harvest are concentrated and intense, with moderate berry size, excellent phenolic ripeness and balanced acidity.
2013 Pendulum Red Wine, Columbia Valley
This blend offers foxy, grape-laden aromatics and flavors. Spicy and fruit-forward, fresh plums and raspberries mix with sweet tobacco leaf. A leathery mid palate finishes with lingering toffee, toasty vanilla and oak.

An ideal expression from Washington's Columbia Valley, balanced to perfection.
People. Place. Purpose. Pendulum.
Just as a pendulum regulates the movement of a clock's work to ensure it is accurate, the viticulturalists and winemakers who create Pendulum regulate the wine growing and winemaking process to ensure that we create wine that is balanced to perfection. Sourced from the Columbia Valley appellation in Eastern Washington, Pendulum benefits from the long, warm summer days and cooler nights which allow grapes to ripen to perfection while protecting their natural acidity. Pendulum is full of intense flavor, artfully blended to achieve a complex and worldly wine.
