Caricature wines are crafted from our estate grown and sustainable vineyards in the Lodi and Clarksburg appellations. The regions are known for their classic Mediterranean climate- as the day’s temperature rises, cool breezes drift from the delta keeping the nights cool which is ideal for our wine grapes.
At Caricature artists do their sketching on paper our winemaker creates hers in a glass. Caricature wines are crafted to embellish a distinctive characteristic of each wine grape while maintaining varietal distinction. Caricature wines are for everyday celebrations and are best enjoyed with family and friends.
2014 Caricature Chardonnay, Lodi
Wine of character with great legs
Delightfully fruity and refreshing, our 2014 Caricature Chardonnay is a vibrant, pleasing wine. A lovely tropical aroma fills the glass and carries through to the palate where it joins crisp apple notes. Six months of French and American oak aging balance the fruit flavors by adding a bit of spice to the smooth and silky finish. It is a versatile Chardonnay that is great to sip or pair with a meal.

For five generations our family has been growing sustainable winegrapes in the Lodi Appellation and in 2006 we opened a winery to showcase our passion for growing winegrapes – because great wine starts in the vineyard. Building on our successes as a farm family, the winery was our first step into crafting wines.
Today, we use our distinct advantage of having control over the entire winemaking process - creating wines from our estate vineyards to the final packaged wine using our new, state-of-the-art bottling line. This enables a continuous line of quality from vine to wine.
