SALTED CARAMEL PECAN PATTIES
This delicious popular confection is made with our famous slow cooked, soft, buttery caramel and only the most premium of pecan pieces. We cover this delectible delight in smooth creamy milk chocolate and top it with a dash of Fleur de Sel.
Whether they are called turtles, ducklings, paws or claws they are a timeless favorite for all!
Ingredients: Milk Chocolate (sugar, chocolate liquor, milk, cocoa butter, soya lecithin and vanillin - an artificial flavor), Pecans, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Evaporated Milk (milk, dipotassium phosphate, carrageenan, vitamin D), Cream, Salted Butter [milk], Soya Lecithin, Vanilla Extract, Salt.
ALLERGEN WARNING: This product was manufactured in a facility where Peanuts, Tree Nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, coconut), Milk, Wheat, Soy and Egg are used. CONTAINS: Milk and Soy.
In 1934 The Candy Basket Inc. opened its doors, hand making delicious chocolate confections to delight its local communities. It is our goal to bring our customers memories of grandma’s “Heavenly Divinity”, mom’s amazing “Red Velvet Cake (truffle)”, and the summer time treat we all enjoyed as kids, dreamy “Creamsicle Fudge”, of course…It’s all just Pure & Simple.
It was in 1999 that The Candy Basket merged with Shorthill Taffy Factory, another locally owned and operated candy manufacturer since 1914. Shorthill Taffy Factory boasts four generations of women manufacturing the finest quality and variety of salt water taffy in the world. From our basic best sellers, Red Cinnamon, Peanut Butter, Licorice Swirl, and Peppermint, to our more exotic flavors, Paradise Plum, Asian Pear, Maple Bacon, and Jalapeno, each batch is slow cooked in copper kettles and pulled to perfection. Every batch is made fresh to order!
The two companies are a match made in heaven, in and out of the work place! Not only was a successful year for business born, but love was in the air, and we don’t mean Valentine’s Day. The owner of The Candy Basket, Inc., Dale C. Fuhr proposed to the owner of Shorthill Taffy Factory, Kipi Doran in August of 2001. As their love continues to grow, so does business!
