Oh, the Mehmories: a Birthday Meh-rathon!

For our birthday this year, we’re putting on a Meh-rathon to honor the people that make this site so great. That’s right: we’re talking about US! So please, enjoy this epic celebration–or… sell-ebration?–by shopping, laughing, buying, sharing your thoughts, sharing your money, and buying!

Oh my, another I.R.K.! What a surprise! To you. We knew about this for days.

Anyway, when we were preparing for this Meh-rathon, we put out a call for some of your favorite Mehmories on the forum. And it was this way that we were reminded of one of our all-time favorite threads.

The challenge issued by @carl669, was simple: “are you dumber than me?”. And friends, the answer to that question was a resounding yes. There were many stories. Some were hilarious in how relatable they were. Others, like the one involving the dogs were… uhh… not so much.

At any rate, it got us wondering, what is it about the site that makes you feel so open to sharing such self-deprecating stories?
