Three Fundamental Questions About This 3-in-1 Air Purifier

1. How do we know this thing works?

That’s the issue with a product that deals in something as ethereal as clean air. Sure, we can report that its filter will catch “99.97% of dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, mold spores, and household odors,” or that its UV-C light “safely destroys micro-organisms such as germs, viruses, bacteria, and fungi.” But almost everything listed there is tiny to the point of invisibility, or subjective (in the case of odors).

So, how do we prove it works? We build a test room, fill it with nasty air, and watch as this thing proves itself worthy of its name by creating a PureZone.

Or, we could just rely on our customers. Namely, user @etingel, who left this helpful comment the last time we sold this thing:

I got one of these last year and I’ve been pretty impressed with it. Over the past few months, I’ve had the unfortunate predicament of having to sleep in a room that is right next to a room that is being remodeled. As you can imagine, that creates an absolutely enormous amount of fine dust that goes everywhere and gets on everything. Thanks to this little thing, the bedroom, and my lungs, stayed absolutely spotless. I would go from gagging in the hallway to breathing normally when I entered the bedroom where this was installed. It worked great. Would recommend.

See! Proof that it actually does what it’s advertised to do! Not bad, huh?

2. Why does it come with a book?

Ah, this is a simple misread! It features a HEPA filter, not a copy of The Heap, which is the debut novel of our own copywriter here at Meh, Sean Adams. Like, the guy who’s writing these very sentences. Which makes this maybe sorta weird. At any rate, if you’re looking for a copy of The Heap, it’s available now!

3. If one were to fry a bunch of bacon and eggs, might this be used to clear the air of grease-stink afterwards?

Sure, why not.

Hey, speaking of bacon and eggs, did you know we have two delightful bacon-and-eggs-related designs currently selling over at Mediocritee? They’re hilarious renderings of breakfast’s most iconic duo as some of cinema’s most iconic duos. And they’re from DoOomcat, of Unstealthiest Ninja fame. Check them out!

4. Would it be fair to say that only one of these three questions was about the product being sold on Meh today?

Yes. And now we have a fourth question. We really messed this one up.
