We’re not selling this deal anymore, but you can buy it at Amazon

3-Pack: ZipKord 3.5mm Bluetooth Audio Adapter

  • A 3-pack of things that will take your wired earbuds and turn them into wireless earbuds (that have a long wire leading to a thing).
  • Maybe use it to connect your jack-less phone to your bluetooth-less car stereo?
  • Seriously, that’s all we can think of. But we still sold a ton of them last time, so…
  • Model: Z343N041. The N0 is because there’s N0 need for wires anymore! Except the one that plugs into these things.

Why Not

Last time we offered these we made some comment about how they were the perfect device for users of the either cheapest or the most expensive headphones on the market. Because you’re either too stingy to shell out for $19 bluetooth buds, or too snobby to give up your wired $450 noise-cancelling mega-sound-pillows.

It was a silly idea, destined to fail, we thought. How many people would be interested in these dumb things? 10? 100? Maybe 300 if we’re lucky?

And that’s how many we got. 300. Plus 3. Oh, and plus 1000 too.

That’s right: last time we put these out there, we moved 1,303 units. But, like, how? Was there something we were missing? Some hidden use for these that we had not foreseen?

We thought there might be when we read this comment from @djslack:

I use an Anker Roav B2 in my shop to connect to an old stereo, and a Besign BK02 in my car, chosen for its wiring configuration to be able to have the puck/mic on the dash but connect to the power and aux connection at the rear of the center console. Both work well.

What does any of this mean? We have no idea. But it must contain some integral detail concerning the practicality of these ZipKord 3.5mm Bluetooth Audio Adapters, right? Or so we assumed until we read how the comment ends:

So I don’t know why I’m tempted by these, except cheap. And self-powered. And I bet I can make up uses for more.

/buy

@djslack is not alone in this sentiment. Doing a quick search of “/buy” in the previous sale’s comments thread, we found the following airtight reasons for purchasing:

And, of course, the most relatable of all rationalizations:

It seems that we caught lightning in a bottle with this one: a super cheap, kinda dumb, yet almost useful-seeming product! A And what do you do when you want to catch more lightning? You stand in the exact same place all over again!
