The man asks if it was you he heard down in the basement, and you nod. And he asks if it was you he heard rummaging around in the attic, and you nod. And he asks why, and you explain about the car trouble, the rain, how you called out but received no response.
“Huh,” the man says, “I must’ve been too busy checking Meh. There’s a Meh-rathon going on, you know!”
You tell the man you’ve never heard of Meh and he ushers you back to a computer room. “It’s one deal every day,” he says, “but today it’s a bunch of deals.”
