It's A Monster Mehsh: A Very Haunted Meh-rathon
Very near the ladder from the attic to the guest bedroom, your crawling guided by the faint glow of the light you found, you happen upon a phone stand. The box says it’s a “Smart Stand” for your phone and so you tear it open.
Surely, if this is true smart tech, it’ll have some ability to charge your dead phone. Then, perhaps you can find that signal again and call for help. Who knows? You might even make it out alive.
But no, the stand is not “smart.” You just sorta set it up and sits there. Which is fine, sure, but it doesn’t help?
You throw the stand across the attic and it bumps into something strange. You crawl over for a closer look.
