It's A Monster Mehsh: A Very Haunted Meh-rathon
At the far end of the basement, you see a door. It’s old, wooden, and let’s be real: it’s creepy as hell. Next to it, there’s a pair of video sunglasses.
You pick them up and inspect them. They seem to be in good enough shape, and there appears to be an 8GB microSD card in them. Perhaps, you think, that card holds a secret about this place, about what’s behind that door, about what’s really going on in this creepy house in the middle of nowhere, far from town and cell reception.
Perhaps, were you to get out of here, you could give this card to the authorities and they’d find video of unspeakable acts on it, things they’ve long suspected went on but had never been able to prosecute. And then your friends would say, “You’re a hero,” and you’d shake your head at the horrors you experienced and say, “But at what cost?”
But that’s all in the future. Right now, you’ve got something else to deal with. You hear a noise from upstairs. It sounds as if something is… grinding.
