The smooth, rich flavors of this Napa blend were born of the dual influences of the hot summer sun in Napa Valley and the cool fogs rolling in from San Pablo Bay.
The wine has aromas of cedar, black pepper, cherries and plum.
Cassis, cherry and cedar on the nose with cherry and leather on the palate. It opens with fresh bramble, while expanding on the mid-palate and has a medium long finish of fresh cherries. The 2011 Red Over Heels is a wine meant for company and tasty shared meals. Pair with a spicy gazpacho soup or grilled Ahi Tuna.
