The Cirago NUS1000 Network USB Storage Link turns any USB mass storage device into a networked attached storage. Any computer on the network can access files on USB devices connected to the NUS1000, making sharing documents, music and other files fast and easy. Additional features include the iTunes, web, media and LPR print servers, and a BitTorrent client. The NUS1000 is networked storage made simple for everyday use in the home or small office.

Easy Setup
In a few easy steps, you can make your data available to other computers and devices on your local network.

• Step 1: Connect the NUS1000 to your network using the included Ethernet cable.
• Step 2: Connect up to 4 USB mass storage devices in to the USB ports on the NUS1000.

That’s it! Your data is now shared across your local network. With 4 USB ports on the NUS1000 and a maximum capacity of 2TB per USB port, you can have up to 8 TB of storage connected and shared across your office or home office network.

Print Server
The LPR print server allows you to share a USB printer on your local home or office network. Anyone on your local network can print directly from his or her computer. Printer sharing saves money by maximizing the use of a single printer.

File Sharing The file sharing capability increases work efficiency in an environment where there is a mix of computer platforms. The Samba/SMB server allows USB devices connected to the NUS1000 to be accessed by locally connected MAC’s and PC’s. The NUS1000 also enables easy sharing of media files and music over the network using the built-in Media and iTunes servers.

P2P Downloading
With the built-in BitTorrent client, peer-to-peer file sharing is a breeze. Simply download the BitTorrent seed file on your computer, upload it to the NUS1000 through the web interface, and the files will download to the USB device of your choice, without having to leave your computer on. Multiple torrents can be added to the download queue for unattended downloading of all your desires files. Share-Level Protection. The intuitive web interface allows you to quickly create and maintain user accounts and permission levels, granting access to only the people you select.
